There are three different dash cluster frames used in the 1963 to 1967 Corvette. The ‘63 is a unique unit as is the ‘64 cluster. From ‘65 to ‘67 the same frame was used for these years. I will try to explain some of the differences in these dash units. Of  course the gauges used in these various mid-year clusters are different. Click here to see those gauges.

All cluster frames were painted a semi-flat black on the front side. The inside was painted a pale green to reflect the dash lights. The gauge bezels on the ‘63 & ‘64 were painted a dull aluminum color. ‘65 thru ‘67 the bezels were painted semi-flat black.
